8:00AM - 2:30PM each day
(A 30-minute lunch break each day is included.)

**This course is delivered online using Microsoft Teams.**

The delivery will consist of  four 6.5-hour sessions totaling 26 hours including breaks and lunch periods.

You must have a Microsoft Teams account to participate.  If you don't have an account, you can sign up for a free account by going to www.microsoft.com/teams.

This course covers Organization and Staffing, Organizing for Incidents and Events, Resource Management, and Air Operations. The following topics are included: ICS staffing and organization, including reporting and working relationships and information flow; transfer of command; Unified Command functions in a multijurisdictional or multiagency incident; ICS forms; resource management; interagency mission planning and procurement. This course is recommended for persons with ICS supervisory positions.

Target Audience:
***Enrollment priority for this course delivery will be given to personnel in Pima County.***
Emergency Management staff; Local, County, State and Tribal Government Units; Fire, Law Enforcement, EMS, and Hospital providers; School Staff and Administrators; Volunteer Agencies active in disaster or exercise.

Prerequisites: FEMA IS-200.C: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response
FEMA IS-800: National Response Framework, An Introduction (Any version)
FEMA IS-100.C - Introduction to Incident Command
FEMA IS-700.B: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System

Resources Required: Mandatory Prerequisites:
• IS-0100.c: An Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
• IS-0200.c: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS 200
• IS-0700.b: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
• IS-0800.c: National Response Framework, an Introduction

• Students are required to use an electronic device that has a speaker, microphone and camera, as well as internet connection capable of streaming video and audio.

• There will be a designated time that you can log into the course beforehand to test your connection and Microsoft Teams access.

• The email from your Acadis account will be used to enroll you in the MS Teams class.  If you created your Microsoft Teams account using a different email, please send that information to training@azdema.gov.

• Course materials will be provided electronically before the beginning of class.  Students should familiarize themselves with the layout and contents of learning materials prior to the beginning of class.

*Enrollment Policy: Students must have the status of “Enrolled” to attend any class or event. Students who are “Waitlisted” or “Pending Approval” will not be allowed to attend the class. If a student needs to cancel enrollment, please do so as early as possible to allow someone on the waitlist to be enrolled.

*Attendance Policy: Students must attend at least 90% of the class to be able to receive credit. Should a student need to miss any portion of the class, they must contact the DEMA Training Branch beforehand for further information.
