The Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM) course is a 24-hour performance level direct delivery course designed to improve incident management and integration of law enforcement, fire and EMS responders to active shooter events.  The course provides a model framework for use by law enforcement, fire, and EMS to manage active shooter event response to improve time to threat neutralization, medical intervention, and survivability of victims.

• Emergency Management


All others will be denied.

Target Audience: 30 Law Enforcement, 20 Fire/EMS, 5 Dispatch

*Enrollment Policy: Students must have the status of “Enrolled” to attend any class or event. Students who are “Waitlisted” or “Pending Approval” will not be allowed to attend the class. If a student needs to cancel enrollment, please do so as early as possible to allow someone on the waitlist to be enrolled.      
              
*Attendance Policy: Students must attend at least 90% of the class to be able to receive credit. Should a student need to miss any portion of the class, they must contact the Training Branch beforehand for further information.
