Course Length: 12 hours (3-days, 4 hours each day).

**This course will be delivered online.**

Course Description:
The goal of this course is to provide continuity planners and program managers the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to help them develop a holistic continuity capability.
The learner must achieve a minimum passing score of 75% on final knowledge assessments or demonstrate mastery on performance assessments or research assignments to earn the IACET CEU.

Course Objectives:
• Identify the groundwork for establishing a continuity program.
• Explain the plans and procedures useful in developing a holistic continuity program.
• Identify strategies for gaining or increasing leadership buy-in for a continuity program.
• Identify the benefits of and methods for conducting continuity test, training, and exercise activities.
• Review program evaluation methodologies to identify areas of improvement in your continuity program and how to implement program improvement activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of key concepts and strategies for developing a continuity program through scenario driven exercises.

Target Audience:
Tribal, state, county, and local continuity stakeholders and those responsible for their training and performance.

Resources Required: **NOTE: The following prerequisite is mandatory and must be completed before requesting enrollment. Waivers will not be granted under any circumstance. Proof of completion must be uploaded during registration.

Signup Details: *Enrollment Policy: Students must have the status of “Enrolled” to attend any class or event. Students who are “Waitlisted” or “Pending Approval” will not be allowed to attend the class. If a student needs to cancel enrollment, please do so as early as possible to allow someone on the waitlist to be enrolled.

*Attendance Policy: Students must attend at least 90% of the class to be able to receive credit. Should a student need to miss any portion of the class, they must contact the DEMA Training Branch beforehand for further information.
